Khao Lak Resort Master Plan
Khao Lak Resort Master Plan
This master plan has transformed the existing prawn farm that consisted of 4 hectares- ponds with 2.5 meter-depth. The client preferred not to have any landfill at the beginning. The first phase of the project will be the 200-room-resort that also connects to the sea via natural canal and there will be a commercial retails and campervan parking in the second phase.
The architect envisions the master plan by using new lagoon technology for resort’s leisure facility and also proposed an organic pool with over-water villas. The design proposal is very considerate, by balancing between environmental friendly approach and the pleasure of the resort’s guests. At the arrival lobby, the view of gigantic crystal clear lagoon and the beautiful landscape of the resort will surprise guests. The resort will be suitable for ecological and recreational tourism as well for commercial gatherings.
